Here’s what happens when an event expires and how to delete an event manually if needed.
How Long Does an RSVP Event Stay Active?
- RSVP events are available for one year from the creation date.
- After one year, the event automatically expires, and the RSVP page is no longer accessible.
- Expired events will still appear under My Events, but guest responses will no longer be collected.
Deleting an Event
If you need to remove an event before it expires, you can delete it manually.
Deleting an event permanently removes all RSVP data and cannot be undone.
If you want to keep a record of your guest list, download it first (see "Downloading the Guest List" for details).
To delete an RSVP event:
Go to your Event Management Page, click the three-dot menu, select Cancel Event, choose whether to notify guests, and confirm deletion.
To delete an RSVP event:
- Go to your profile and open My Events.
- Select the event you want to delete.
- Click the three-dot menu and choose Cancel Event.
- Choose whether to notify guests about the cancellation.
- Confirm the deletion.
Important: Once an event is deleted, all guest responses and RSVP data are permanently removed and cannot be restored.
